Our Origins: Hands-On Experience
Before launching JTime, I spent several years on the front lines working for one of the most established legacy dealers in the industry (PureTime). During those years, I gained invaluable experience across every layer of the business:
- I developed a deep understanding of movement architecture, finishing, and material quality.
- I built direct, long-standing relationships with manufacturers and key factory figures.
- Most importantly, I spent thousands of hours communicating directly with clients and members of international collector communities (such as RWI, RepTime, and specialized horology forums).
Listening to the community taught me an essential lesson: watch enthusiasts aren’t just looking for a product—they are looking for a trusted partner. Someone who truly understands their passion, provides honest advice on piece condition, and delivers reliable support before and after the sale.
2019: A New Chapter
Between late 2018 and early 2019, I knew it was time to step out on my own and build something that truly reflected my vision. Thus, JTime was born.
My goal was to create a leaner, more agile operation focused on service excellence rather than anonymous, high-volume sales. From day one, the golden rule at JTime has remained unchanged: treat every single order as if it were going into my own personal collection.
Our Team & The Quality Control (QC) Standard
Delivering top-tier service requires a dedicated team. To maintain the rigorous standards I set for JTime, I assembled a small, trusted team of specialists.
Many of you are already familiar with Lana, who heads our Quality Control (QC) division. Lana shares my obsession with perfection:
- Every timepiece that enters our office undergoes thorough visual inspection under magnification and timegrapher testing to verify mechanical accuracy.
- We provide our clients with high-resolution photo and video sets from every angle for final approval prior to dispatch.
- If a watch shows even the smallest aesthetic defect or mechanical inconsistency, it is rejected and sent back to the factory before our client ever sees it.

Thanks to years of presence on the ground and a strong professional reputation, JTime enjoys direct, privileged access to top-tier manufacturing facilities (Clean Factory, VSF, ZF, ARF, and more). This allows us to consistently source the latest revisions and highest-tier production batches available on the market.
